What is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an easy way to get information whenever we update, even if you aren't viewing the web site. RSS is an XML format used to deliver commonly viewed information over the internet.
What are the benefits of using RSS?
RSS allows you to view content of web pages without having to visit web pages continuously. These services are free to current subscribers.
How do can I use an RSS Feed?
To view an RSS Feed, you need an RSS reader. Internet Explorer 7 and Mozilla Firefox 2 have a built in RSS Reader that can also
be used. Google and Yahoo! allow integration of RSS Feeds into their customized web pages. There are also several other programs,
sometimes called news readers, available on the internet that can read the RSS feed for you.
To subscribe to the feed using any particular news reader:
- Click the
button.
- If prompted to enter your account number, enter it and click the subscribe button.
- Copy this address (URL) and follow the instructions for your particular news reader to subscribe.
To subscribe to the feed using Internet Explorer 7 or Mozilla Firefox 2:
- Click the

- If prompted to enter your account number, enter it and click the subscribe button.
- The web browser RSS readers have a subscribe button displayed with the viewing of the RSS.
To subscribe to the feed using Google or Yahoo! readers:
- Click the
or button next to the feed you wish to subscribe to.
- If prompted to enter your account number, enter it and click the subscribe button again.
- You will be taken to their web site to finish adding the RSS to your customized web site.
